Who we are
Nursing Fundamentals Ltd (company number 15774317, registered in England and Wales) trades as Nursing Fundamentals and operates this website at nursingfundamentals.co.uk. Nursing Fundamentals Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Our registered office is 16 Sheldrake Drive, Bristol, BS16 1UD, United Kingdom. This is our registered office for correspondence and legal purposes only, and it is not a training venue; training is delivered on-site at learners' own locations.
How to contact us
The quickest way to reach us about anything in this policy, including a request about your personal information, is through our contact form. We do not currently publish a separate email address or phone number on this website; every enquiry submitted through the form is reviewed directly by Noreen, our clinical educator and director.
What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us when you submit a training enquiry through our contact form. Depending on which fields you complete, this may include:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you provide one
- Whether the enquiry is for an individual or an organisation, and the organisation name if applicable
- The approximate number of learners and a training location or postcode, for organisation enquiries
- The course you are interested in
- Any further message you choose to add
Our contact form asks you not to include patient-identifiable or confidential clinical information in your message. Please do not include such information when contacting us. If you accidentally do, contact us through the form and we will delete it.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels on this website, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information beyond what you submit through the contact form.
Why we use your information and our legal basis
We use the information you submit to respond to your training enquiry, to discuss and arrange training, and, where a booking goes ahead, to deliver that training. Our legal basis for this is that processing is necessary to respond to a request you have made to us, and, where training is booked, to perform that contract with you or your organisation.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is submitted and stored using Netlify, the hosting and forms provider for this website, acting as our data processor. Netlify may process and store form data on infrastructure located outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Netlify maintains its own safeguards for international transfers of personal data; details are available in Netlify's own privacy documentation. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with any other third party.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to respond to your enquiry and, if training goes ahead, for as long as necessary to deliver that training and meet any related legal or accounting obligations. We delete or anonymise enquiry data we no longer need.
Security
Your enquiry is sent to us over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to submitted enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. We have not sought any specific data-security certification, and this policy does not claim one.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact form.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, we would like the chance to put it right, so please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are strictly necessary ones used by our hosting provider, Netlify, to serve the site and process form submissions securely.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the website operates. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
